As a Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor, I recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about pastoral care.
"Chaplaincy: What in "H" Was I Thinking?" is an intensive preview, description, guide and workbook for anyone considering clinical pastoral education (CPE). While there are many excellent books valuable in the education of pastoral care providers, this book, written from the point of view of a person who was recently completed a chaplain residency in a clinical setting, helps prepare for the journey of learning how to provide effective pastoral care.
