5 Moore-licious stars!!

James Moore learns the hard way that money can’t buy you everything, especially happiness.
James had it all: a trust fund, his childhood sweetheart and their upcoming wedding. Yet his world is shattered in one night when he finds out his fiancée has cheated on him. Left reeling from the revelation, James is on a downward spiral of booze, women and MMA fighting to release his anger.
Ellie Charles is struggling to keep her café and coffee shop afloat thanks to being saddled with debts run up by her ex. Honest to a fault, she tells it like it is!! Coming to a drunken James’ aide one night she’s quick to tell him what she thinks. It’s hard to watch the guy she’s crushed on since eighth grade hit the self-destruct button.
In an attempt to get his loved ones off his back, James gets either the amazingly genius, or amazingly stupid idea to ask Ellie to be his fake girlfriend. Ellie’s first reaction is to tell James where to go, but on closer consideration she has a change of heart.
Getting to spend time with her #crush, having fun could just be the distraction Ellie needs from her problems. Added to which is the fact James has grown up mighty fine with all his tattoos, new found muscles and motorbike. Throw in a few kisses in public to keep up the ruse; what could possibly go wrong?! Emmm, just about everything I’d say…..
Someone is not happy James is in Ellie’s life, fake relationship or not and makes their displeasure known. I’m hesitant to say anymore here as I honestly don’t want to ruin your reading experience. Suffice it to say, it was one heck of a ride and I loved every minute of it.
I laughed, cried, shouted and had a hot flush or two while reading this book. *Psst!!* There is this one scene in Ellie’s office in the coffee shop ~ seriously panty melting stuff but shush!! I never said a thing, right?! ;)
One line stood out for me which pretty much summed up James and Ellie for me:
“True love, when you found it, it knocked you off your feet and redefined you.”
I can’t wait for the next in the series. Prepare to be carried away!

Moore men and family needed in this world.

Much better than book one! Character development was more evident and the characters were stronger and more memorable. James is spiraling down a dark road since his engagement was cancelled once he found out his fiancé was cheating. His judgement is impaired by his constant drinking and questionable friends. Ellie owns her own business but is in debt thanks to her last boyfriend who mooched off her and left her with high credit card bills. With the Moore's family constant interference and concern, James decides to acquire a fake girlfriend to get from under their scrutiny and asks Ellie to step in. It was suppose to have been a no attachment just friends only deal but that gets thrown out when a mutual attraction develops and sex gets mixed in. Now both are wary of their friends only agreed on deal and can't decide if they are rebound partners or if real love has found its way into this mess. Throw in some feelings of inadeqacy issues for both and the pot boils over. James however is very protective, as are all Moore men, and likes that Ellie is candid and truthful with him. Unfortunately Ellie's one blunder is a huge one (she has a habit of making poor decisions in lieu of helping other people that proves detrimental to herself) and tests the bonds of their new relationship. Don't want to give out spoilers so be sure to read this book to see if their relationship flourishes or dies a quick death if James can't forgive Ellie for lying to him.

I love how strong you are.. But I love how soft you are.
Two completely different people. Both hurting. Both un trusting. Both need eachother. They just don't know it.
Tell me I'm an idiot. for believing in the fairytale. Poor. Ella. Has never caught a break since her parents died. She's been alone frightened and stubborn to make her own life her own way.
If this a fairytale then welcome to your happily ever after.
James.. Rich. Gorgeous. Entitled. Heart broken. struggling to pull himself together after his fiance cheated on him. Then. Comes up with a plan.. Can he fool his friends and family... Or. Does he just end up fooling himself...
You must reader find out :) x.
A good mix of drama and romance. I felt the drama could had a bit more suspense to it. But I. Found this book a. Brilliant read. The Moore. Family. Yet again. Strength of a family will conquer x.
